Our Story
Carla and I have been married for nearly 40 years.
We started No Regretz Ministries following the death of our son, Zach, in 2003. Our goal was to help families build strong relationships, especially those who have experienced great loss.
In the past several years, God has developed a passion in us to help build strong marriages through the ministry of marriage coaching, leading to the relaunching of No Regretz Ministries: Forging a Marriage that Flourishes in All Seasons.

We have two other sons, Kemper and Cole. Kemper works for Berkshire Hathaway and lives in San Diego, California with his wife Haley who is a physician and their dog, Bella. Cole currently lives in Athens, Georgia and works at the University of Georgia.
Carla, a Clinical Nurse Specialist and a Family Nurse Practitioner, currently serves as the Neonatal Outreach Coordinator at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, Georgia. She is responsible for the education, consultation, and support for 11 hospitals and 2 health departments that provide perinatal services in the region. Carla also coordinates the Neonatal Developmental Follow-up Clinic at Atrium Health Navicent.
I am currently serving as the full-time director for No Regretz Ministries. I am an ordained minister and hold a MA in Biblical Studies. I have been involved in ministry to students and young adults for more than 40 years.
God has given us the chance to minister together in a variety of settings including home groups, seminars, conferences, pre-marital counseling, and marriage coaching. In 2009 we released our book, Furious Love: a journey through the heart of grief. We are both certified facilitators for Prepare/Enrich and SYMBIS, the leading marriage and pre-marriage relationship assessments. We are also certified Marriage Coaches through the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
We would love to partner with churches seeking to support marriages in their community or individual couples who want to grow their marriage to be the best that it can be.
"Not every couple needs marriage counseling, but everyone could use a marriage coach."
